Hushe Valley Drive

Hushe is the road head for the Gondogoro La and the Masherbrum side of the range, and the drive up the valley is worth doing in its own right. The village sits beneath Masherbrum (7,821 m), with Laila Peak visible further up the valley.

For anyone not trekking, it is the closest you can get by vehicle to the big peaks of the Masherbrum group, and the valley communities here are the source of many of the porters and guides working on the Baltoro.
